My story.

I'm so glad we've had a chance to get to know each other! I'm excited to share more with you in this space about what allows me to contribute to my family financially in a meaningful way while keeping our priorities front and center. When I first joined my company I was running my own non-profit organization and freelancing as a professional freelance makeup artist and lash specialist in the Atlanta area. I was newly married to my husband (who at the time was in his first year of medical school), we had an almost toddling honeymoon-baby and we were already thinking of names for our next baby.

While I loved what I was doing the pay was inconsistent (who am I kidding... non-existent for the non-profit which I ran on a volunteer basis... ha) and the hours were not predictable to say the least. I was looking for an opportunity that would allow me to work from home around the needs of my family and to be able to contribute financially in a meaningful way. A childhood friend introduced me to the business after I reached out to her to see what her secret was that had allowed her to support her family, who was in a similar situation.

I fell in love with the power and potential that this business model holds. I can run my business on my time, on my terms, and it allows me ultimate freedom and flexibility. I can leverage the credibility of a huge brand and live a life that I truly love. I knew I wanted to spend as much time home as possible while my children were young, especially while my husband was working and studying insane hours during medical school, residency, and beyond, and I never wanted to miss out on any family time we did have with him. The best part is that the flexibility this has provided has allowed me to do just that; to never miss a moment with what is now our family of six (with our caboose arriving in April), and I am able to meaningfully contribute to our household with my earnings. I can tithe to our church, donate to causes close to my heart, cover our family’s monthly expenses, and whatever else we want or need to direct those funds towards.
